This is my first feature documentary film, in collaboration with Ringo Media and Mireia Graell as producer.
Philip, Simon and Geoffrey, two reggae singers and one comedian, live in Kibera(Kenia), one of the biggests slums in África. They have created "Made in Kibera" (MIK), a social and artistic movement that seeks to unify artists from the slum and create a strong community that benefits each other.
To accomplish that, MIK is building the first profesional recording studio in Kibera and organizing a massive concert where more than 70 artists will join them for the launching.
Kibera Sauti was part of the 18th edition of the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival(Greece) in its Docs in Progress section and is now in postproduction.
